Blogging Baby Ring

Many of my ring requirements have been nicked without permission from Lynn Gomm.

Most baby websites make me cringe. They’re usually draped in pink or blue with the standard diaper pins and milk bottle motif. A good majority I have seen have god awful animated gifs replicated thoughout. Aren’t we more interesting than that? Do you want your baby to listen to Barry Manilow while she really wants to rock to The Ramones? Don’t you love her?

This ring will hopefully help us babies to take a stand. These are my requirements:

1) Your blog must be typed in English and open to public viewing. I do apologize to all the non-English speaking babes but that’s just the way it is.

2) Your website must consist of a blog and it must be maintained regularly.
No business sites, fanlisting sites, message board or forum sites, no personal non-blog sites of any kind many join.

3) The blog must be updated mostly by you. You parents can post occasionally, but only if you have a cold or a case of the heebie-jeebies.

4) No sexual content, hate sites or illegal product sites may join. If you have something to say that would be considered light adult humor, then great. I just don’t want anything nasty and chav like.

5) The URL you submitted must be the exact page where your ring code is found. If your code can’t be found, I can’t add you.

6) Once your site is added, you have 7 days to add the ring code to your site. If you haven’t bothered attaching the code to your site within a week I’ll be soooooo mean and delete you. It may even make you cry!

7) After a week has passed and I haven’t gotten back to you, please email me and tell me there’s a problem.

8) The ring is tested for integrity once every three months. It’s up to you to make sure your information in the ring is kept up to date. If the ring integrity gets broken because you’ve moved the code and not updated the information in the ring then your site will be deleted from the ring. If I can’t find the ring code I’ll just presume you no longer wish to have your site in the ring and will delete it. However, if it was all a horrible mistake and you still want to be in BB you are welcome to reapply; I’m always happy to have sites back in the ring.

If you are unsure whether or not you qualify, contact me with your details and I’ll be happy to help you.
