Well, we’re finally in the US! I don’t know why people complain about flying, because I had a great time. I didn’t have to carry anything, didn’t have to feed myself and Mommy and Granny worked tirelessly to keep me amused.
Going through Customs in Atlanta airport was a very different experience than the last time Mommy went through. There’s a much longer walk to get there, and there are signs everywhere pertaining to biometrically scanning foreigners. Had Daddy flown with us, he’d be scanned while the rest of his family would have been forced to go on without him. Thanks a lot George Wanker Bush!
My Great Aunt Karen picked us up at the airport and took us home, where I met Granny’s cat, Smokey. Oooooh boy, a new gadget to tinker with.
TTFN!

Sorry for my blogging delay, but Granny the mattress is in England with us and she’s spoiling me rotten!
Since her arrival, we have gone to Brighton, Arundel Castle and Longleat Safari Park. The days have been sooooo fun and soooooooo tiring for me, but they have been worth it.
Granny bought me toys in Brighton with money sent by my great-grandfather Pop, and boy are these toys cooooooool.
I love my two Brighton lizards. Well, they’re actually German, so if we ever go on holiday to a beachy area, they’ll have to stay home. I don’t want them accused of hogging sun loungers!

Arundel Castle was the first castle I have ever seen in person ever. Mommy and Daddy took turns carrying me up and down spiral stairs just slightly wider than their own shoulders.
Later on while we were walking through the castle’s cushy living areas, I realized my squeals produced an echo. While Daddy and Granny walked through the castle slowly, Mommy spent 40 minutes dancing me around keeping me amused. Her efforts worked…. most of the time.
Last but not least was Longleat. When we arrived at the safari park, Mommy took me out of my car seat and placed me on her lap. My seat sits too low to see many of the animals out the car window, so I needed a bit of a boost.
Before entering the monkey area, you have an opportunity to bypass it because monkeys like to take cars apart.

There’s lots of warning signs about the monkeys, but no information about potential deer damage. When we drove into the deer enclosure, they went completely bonkers when Granny and Daddy fed them. Some deer were so screaming hungry, they became impatient and kicked the crap out of Daddy’s car.
Well, there you have it! Mommy, Granny and I fly out to the US Tuesday afternoon. I promise I’ll blog again before we leave.

On Saturday mornings Daddy and I meet up with Mr M and his son Sam for a stroll. Mommy then has an hour to trim her toenails or scrub the toilet in peace.
Sam is a nice boy, but he sure is easily distracted. If a car drives by when we’re in the middle of a chat, he has to run off and chase the car. He then screams, “Car!” and smiles like he’s terribly pleased with himself.
Cars aren’t the only thing that get such a reaction out of Sam. Spotting kitty cats make him squeal and point. He also likes saying “No!” quite a bit.
Luckily Daddy isn’t as easily distracted. When we reached home I asked Mommy why Sam was so different from Daddy. She told me Sam, like me, has a lot of growing to do.
And men aren’t any good until they’re 30 anyway, apparently….
