My Daddy loves me
He takes me for lots of walks
It’s getting colder

Singin’ Momma

26th October, 2005 at 11:28 am | Me Comments

My Mom can’t sing to save her life, but her attempts do make me laugh.

This morning she was singing a baby-related song from my favorite group, The Ramones:-

She went away for the holidays
Said she’s going to L.A.
But she never got there
She never got there
She never got there
They saaaaaaaay

The kkk took my baby away
They took her away, away from me

Now I don’t know where my baby can be
They took her away from me

Ring me, ring me, ring me up the president
And find out where my baby went
Ring me, ring me, ring me up the FBI and find
Out if baby’s alive yeah, yeah, YEAHHHHHHH

When Mom gets out of the shower, I hope she belts out Baby in a Coma. I just loooooove Morrisey.

Family Planning

Mom had a doctor’s appointment today so I offered to tag along. I asked her if she was sick, and she said the doctor wanted to talk to her about Family Planning.

I got excited and started to imagine how life would be with a little brother or sister to boss around. Pick up my socks off the floor! Mow the lawn! Eat my lima beans or you’ll get a knuckle sandwich!

My dream was shattered when Mom told me I’d have to share my food, and my cot, and my clothes, and my blankets, and my toys and worst of all MY BLING.

Keep taking those pills!

7 Weeks Old Today

Where does the time go?

Mom and Dad and I were walking around Tesco’s today and we got me some big girl socks. Ironically all the cute newborn outfits bought for me have one major thing in common: the matching socks do not fit my honking big feet.

We got some larger kiddie socks, and now my feet are nice and toasty.

Charlotte in her cot (7 weeks exactly)

Mom put a bracelet on me today, given to me by my second cousin Kristen. It’s a little silvery, pearly and a whole lot girlie! I love it.

Anyway, I’m 7 weeks old and much wiser than I was at 4 weeks. I’m starting to make sounds like owwwww and ahhhhhh and I’m smiling more and making my parents happy.

They’re so pathetically easy to please.
